My mare is on a mostly dry forage diet during winter as our turnout is unreliable. When I looked into why she was losing topline and condition - vitamin E kept cropping up - the vet didn’t think she was an ulcer candidate but she had a few indicators. I was using a reputable balancer on top of her complete hard feed so I thought I had her covered. But when I looked at the vitamin E content it was nowhere enough. Two weeks into feeding selenavit instead of my pellet balancer she was a different horse! Controllable Energy, calm and much happier in herself, and 5 weeks on she is gaining topline and muscle again.
